These devices provide power to the low-noise amplifiers of the active antenna through a coax cable with 300 mA per channel current. Each channel also provides an adjustable output voltage from 1.5 V to 20 V. These devices provide diagnostics through the current sense and error pins. To monitor the load current, a high-side current-sense circuitry provides a proportional analog output to the sensed load current. The accurate current sense allows detection of open, normal, and short-circuit conditions without the need for further calibration. Current sense can be multiplexed between channels and devices to save analog-to-digital converter (ADC) resources. Each channel also implements adjustable current limit with an external resistor. These devices operate over a–40°C to +125°C ambient temperature range. The controller with on-chip PFC circuit achieves high power factor and low THD. Operating in critical conduction mode, the power MOSFET switchingloss is reduced and the inductoris fully utilized. The BP3319M Badopts proprietary primary side current sensing scheme. It can precisely control the LED current without secondary side sense and feedback circuits. The system size and cost areoptimized, as well as the system reliability. The BP3319MButilizes patented line and load voltage compensation method to achieve excellent line and load regulation. And the line compensation factor can also be tuned externally for flexibility. The HEF4094B is an 8-bit serial-in/serial or parallel-out shift register with a storage register and 3-state outputs. Both the shift and storage register have separate clocks. The device features a serial input (D) and two serial outputs (QS1 and QS2) to enable cascading. Data is shifted on the LOW-to-HIGH transitions of the CP input. Data is available at QS1 on the LOW-to-HIGH transitions of the CP input to allow cascading when clock edges are fast. The same data is available at QS2 on the next HIGH-to-LOW transition of the CP input to allow cascading when clock edges are slow. The data in the shift register is transferred to the storage register when the STR input is HIGH. Data in the storage register appears at the outputs whenever the output enable input (OE) is HIGH. A LOW on OE causes the outputs to assume a high-impedance OFF-state. Operation of the OE input does not affect the state of the registers. Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VDD.

The devices generate a regulated fixed (3.3V or 5.0V) or adjustable output voltage. They are specifically designed for applications requiring low noise and high efficiency and are able to deliver up to 120 mA output current. The devices allow the input voltage to be lower or higher than the output voltage, by automatically switching between buck/ boost operation. The MCP1252 has a switching frequency of 650 kHz, avoiding interference with sensitive IF bands. The MCP1253 has a switching frequency of 1 MHz and allows the use of smaller capacitors than the MCP1252, thus saving board space and cost. Both devices feature a power-good output that can be used to detect out-of-regulation conditions. Extremely low supply current and low external parts count (three capacitors) make these devices ideal for small, batterypowered applications. A shutdown mode is also provided for further power reduction. The MCP1252 and MCP1253 feature thermal and short-circuit protection and are offered in space-saving, 8-lead, MSOP packages. It also features Page, Sector and Chip erase functions typically associated with Flash-based products. These functions are not required for byte or page write operations. The memory is accessed via a simple Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) compatible serial bus. The bus signals required are a clock input (SCK) plus separate data in (SI) and data out (SO) lines. The DS12885, DS12887, and DS12C887 real-time clocks (RTCs) are designed to be direct replacements for the DS1285 and DS1287. The devices provide a real-time clock/calendar, one time-of-day alarm, three maskable interrupts with a common interrupt output, a programmable square wave, and 114 bytes of batterybacked static RAM (113 bytes in the DS12C887 and DS12C887A). The DS12887 integrates a quartz crystal and lithium energy source into a 24-pin encapsulated DIP package. The DS12C887 adds a century byte at address 32h. For all devices, the date at the end of the month is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days, including correction for leap years. The devices also operate in either 24-hour or 12-hour format with an AM/PM indicator. A precision temperature-compensated circuit monitors the status of VCC. If a primary power failure is detected, the device automatically switches to a backup supply. A lithium coin-cell battery can be connected to the VBAT input pin on the DS12885 to maintain time and date operation when primary power is absent. The device is accessed through a multiplexed byte-wide interface, which supports both Intel and Motorola modes. MAX481/MAX483/MAX485/ MAX487–MAX491/MAX1487 Low-Power, Slew-Rate-Limited RS-485/RS-422 TransceiversGeneral Description The MAX481, MAX483, MAX485, MAX487–MAX491, and MAX1487 are low-power transceivers for RS-485 and RS422 communication. Each part contains one driver and one receiver. The MAX483, MAX487, MAX488, and MAX489 feature reduced slew-rate drivers that minimize EMI and reduce reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, thus allowing error-free data transmission up to 250kbps. The driver slew rates of the MAX481, MAX485, MAX490, MAX491, and MAX1487 are not limited, allowing them to transmit up to 2.5Mbps. These transceivers draw between 120µA and 500µA of supply current when unloaded or fully loaded with disabled drivers. Additionally, the MAX481, MAX483, and MAX487 have a low-current shutdown mode in which they consume only 0.1µA. All parts operate from a single 5V supply. Drivers are short-circuit current limited and are protected against excessive power dissipation by thermal shutdown circuitry that places the driver outputs into a high-impedance state. The receiver input has a fail-safe feature that guarantees a logic-high output if the input is open circuit. The MAX487 and MAX1487 feature quarter-unit-load receiver input impedance, allowing up to 128 MAX487/ MAX1487 transceivers on the bus. High input sensitivity is achieved by using an emitter follower phototransistor and a SCR predriver resulting in an LED trigger current of less than 2 mA or 3 mA (DC). Inverse parallel SCRs provide commutating dV/dt greater than 10 kV/μs. The zero cross line voltage detection circuit consists of two MOSFETS and a photodiode. The BRT21, BRT22, BRT23 product family isolates low-voltage logic from 120, 230, and 380 VAC lines to control resistive, inductive or capacitive loads including motors, solenoids, high current thyristors or TRIAC and relays.
